Use "Dell Support Center" to inform you of Driver updates for your service tag.

make use of dell dupport center for something. its useless bloatware as it stands. it would be nice to get a message sent to it to let me know that there is a new BIOS update, or wireless card driver.

what if people don't have Dell Support Centre and have a web site check drivers and BIOS update like Microsoft update Dell can call it Dell updates.

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but it already does that. I just got an email for a driver on my 1720. Just sign up!

I've signed up but no email when a new driver is released. I was just browsing through and found an update.

By the way, Dell Support Center stinks. The alerts it gave are all for novice users.

Agreed 100% - I was actually shocked when my XPS M1330 didn't do that. I thought for sure I was doing something wrong...but no, you really do have to go to the Web site and try to figure out which drivers are newer. It's truly pathetic.

What i would like to see, is an automatic download to my device of the latest drivers for MY particular Service Tag.
Not all 17 different WiFi options, 4 different gfx cards, etc.
I can even set it up myself, as long as i am offered to have them downloaded to me. Heck, I'll even go for getting en email update for my particular service tag, with links to the latest drivers.
What I can get now, is an email alert for when my D630 laptop gets new drivers... but that includes the 17 wifi options, WWAN cards I don't have... etc.
Make it easy for me to download my pertinent drivers right away, without having to figure out which of all the options i really do have...
