Option to include certain cables with your laptop

180 points posted to Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Laptops by james-94 May 21

There should be an option when customizing a laptop to include certain types of cables with it.
VGA, DVI, HDMI and S-Video cables should be available to choose from.

The problem with this is they might start bundling these cables and charge extra for something that you might not want. It would be fine if it were an option, but Dell might start getting complaints that the cables are not included.

@james-94:

You have always had the option to add a laptop or desktop to your shopping cart, then continue to shop for accessories. Or are you referring to having this options available from our Dell configurator?

yes I know you can add things after you configure a computer and add it to your shoping cart.
I mean like when your configuring a computer and you get to the "Accessories" Tab where Mice, Keyboards, Cameras, Printers etc. are there should be a "Cables" section so that you don't have to go find all your cables seperatly.

This is for james-94, thank you for making me aware that Windows Vista has a Speach Recognition software. I thought speach was spelled speech.
