It would be really cool if the screen and keyboard areas of notebooks were multi-touchscreens. That way, we could finally incorporate new interaction concepts. The keyboard area could automatically adapt to the running application and offer additional controls and information. If it's too unpractical to replace the whole screen or keyboard it could at least be useful to have an additional multi-touchscreen above the keyboard (where some notebooks currently have extra functions) and offer context-sensitive quick-access functions.
