Better Computer Information

150 points posted to Dimension products by beamermt25 03/21/07

About 7 months ago, my parents purchased a B110 from Dell not knowing a whole lot, they didn't want to spend TOO much money on a computer, but they wanted something rather nice. Now a few months later, I went to do a few upgrades and found that the computer only had PCI slots. No AGP or PCIe (not that I would expect PCIe), and of course its much too late to return the unit. Now we all understand that low end means low end, but I belive Dell has a responsibility to fully inform their customers as to what they are getting. We could have gone elsewhere and spend the same amount for something a bit more upgradable.

What would you like Dell to do? Something on the order of "yo, stupid, are you sure you wanna buy a price leader of a computer?"

No, just put full technical information on the website, much as it says in the title.
