Supply Anti-glare screens with all flat screen monitors

Dell charges a lot for its brand of monitors. Would it be too difficult for dell to provide anti-glare screens with the monitors?

DUMP glossy LCD display screens. LCD should be non-glare.

Please offer notebook and desktop computers with non-glare LCD screens/monitors. The new glossy displays attract glare from lights, in addition, they are not actually any brighter.

Glossy displays offer better contrast and deeper, more saturated colors.
Dell also offers the option of a non-glossy display.

the problem is not the gloss, its the inferior quality of the LCD used here by Dell....

Dell receives a lot of complaints regarding certain LCD manufacturers on their laptops... I have seen a lot of blogs complaining about Samsung as the worst screen manufacturer for Dell laptops. BUT still, new laptops a of today ship with Samsung LCDs, most of the time...

LG are supposed to be the best and we deserve the most for the money we pay for Dell!

glossy is crap, it's not as bright and clear as matte...bring the king back in the highest rez in matte as well!!!

I hate, hate, hate glossy screens. I cannot buy a decent laptop now, they all have glossy screens. Seems that my venerable 1998 Sony is here to stay.

I will NOT buy a pc with a glossy screen. The MacBook and all other pc notebooks seem to be moving towards glossy. So my next notebook will be a Latitute D630 - as long as it has a NON GLOSSY screen. Will not buy if Glossy!

And by the way, why "dump" glossy screens? Why take away the OPTION for those of us who prefer glossy screens? Dell already offers the option of anti-glare screens.
