DellConnect preinstalled

I know I voted for no additional software on dell computer but, please, for people who will choose to keep their softwares, add DellConnect in the bundle.
As tech support, sometimes it takes more time to download / find it than resolving the issue.
For people who doesn't know this software, it's a remote control used by dell support (like vnc, pc anywhere, ...) very usefull when a broadband connection is avaliable.

Thanks for voting and helping us to fix grandma's computers !


As of May 1, 2008, Dell systems will have DellConnect pre-installed.

06/14/07		 I agree, that way if we need to system restore, or even go back to factoy image, dellconnect will always be installed.

Jan 23		 or add DellConnect as a shortcut in internet explorer's favorites (and not in some stinking dell folder either!!!)

Apr 25		 New systems shipped from May 1 on will have the DellConnect code installed by default. As presto_fabien noted, having this application factory-installed will lessen the time it takes our customers to receive the assistance they seek – no more waiting for the code to be downloaded from the web.
