Make dell compatible drivers for power consumption

IBM laptops have this and it is very helpful to monitor your power usage, remaining power left, charge/discharge rates, and battery capacity. This would also educate the masses of people who regularly destroy their laptop batteries.

Dell Computer Energy Consumption meter

An internal device that records the computer energy consumption. Software would report and track the data. Users could monitor their power consumption and even set goals or get ideas on how to reduce.

Addtionally users could sumbit their data online and compare with others.

I see two branches of this; home & business.

In business, I see the requirement to provide a central reporting repository. I'm guessing a module for OpenManage or SilverEdge would b a good bet here.
