The Precision M4300 has an option for a 1920x1200 display, but the M1530 does not. Dell needs to pick up the pace in releasing new designs Dell, Desktops and Laptops submitted by jervis961 Mar 13
Dell is notorious for lack of innovation and has been making strides to change. Unfortunately they are still loosing out because they take to long to get to market and by the time they do someone else has usually beat them to the punch. The 15" XPS should compete feature for feature with the MacBook Pro XPS products submitted by ncd Mar 17
There is no reason why Dell cannot make all of the features of the Apple MacBook Pro available on the XPS of similar size. Some options that are missing from the XPS are: XPS M1530 with LED Screen and 2MP Camera Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), XPS products submitted by marcusesq Jan 10

Before I submit my idea it would be nice if someone could let me know what is the status of the slot-loading blu-ray drive which was promised for the M1330. I know that it has already been implemented into the new M1530 but what about the 13 inch model. Is it still in the works or has it been cancelled all together? I commend Dell for listening to the Public and providing better resolution screens for the marvelous M1530. Sell DELL Products on NEWEGG.com Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), Dimension products, Sales Strategies, Desktops and Laptops submitted by thomasp94 Jan 24
I do all my companies IT shopping at 2 places, 90% at NEWEGG and the rest at DELL. Most of the products I buy at dell are monitors, toner, and other accessories. It would be really great if I could buy Dell products at Newegg. It would be more convenitent, it would save on tax and shipping as well. Newegg is also MUCH faster than Dell at shipping, I can usually get my order in 1-2 days after placing it, compared to a week or more from Dell. I'm not really talking about whole systems, more like... Blu-Ray cancelled for the M1330?! Say it ain't so!!! Accessories (Keyboards, etc.), XPS products submitted by q0987 Jan 26
If someone from Dell could please tell whether they are still planning on releasing a slot-loading blu-ray drive for the XPS M1330. It has already been implemented into the M1530 - does this mean it is no longer in the works for the 13 inch model? I havn't heard anything since it was released. Please! Someone? Anyone? I'm interested in buying the M1730, but the thing is that I live in Mexico and here you don't sell that model with the same specs that you offer in the web page of the United States. When you offered the 2.8 Ghz processor in USA you only offered the 2.6Ghz in Mexico. And now you offer the 2.8Ghz processor in Mexico but you dont offer the new Nvdia 8800 GTX, you only offer the 8700. I really want to buy the most actual computer, I work producing video and audio so I need a computer that will last for a long period of time supporting the tasks that I will be asking for (I mean: is not a cheap computer at all). At least offer the chance to buy that. Computers to come with an 'Idiot's guide'/very basic guide for newbies Education submitted by dinneenp Feb 8

Abandon the terrible touch pad on laptops. Replace it with a thumbstick, like on video game controllers. Put a scroll wheel on there while you are at it. Dell Web Site, New Product Ideas submitted by badblood Feb 14

More Hard drives New Product Ideas, Laptops submitted by bigranger75th Feb 15 I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer, I also consultant for many large companies. I carry a terabyte of storage in external drives as well as 360 gig of storage on my laptop. Mostly this is taken up with VM's (virtual machines). I want a laptop with min of 8 gb or ram, and three hard drive bays. I don't use a CD/dvd drive much as I work all with ISO mount or unmount those. The Dell laptop I need, and would pay for, has to handle what I do. Carrying even a portable computer would be fine but where is the screen and keyboard/mouse. I know there is a lot of software companies which need a demo laptop system to do such things. I think demand would be higer then you think. Did I also mention a Quad core proc? 2 Comments » More feedback from Dell on popular ideas IdeaStorm submitted by pjeff Feb 15
